This is an exciting Chateauneuf-du-Pape because it is made only from 100% Grenache grapes from 100 year old vines (planted in 1910).

Vines that are 100 year olds, result in wines that are complex and more intense in their flavor profile, and richer in the key flavors.

Vinifications are made in concrete tanks.

2016 is one of the best vintages, with incredible balance, concentration, and purity. Fine tannins, freshness, and complexity make it a benchmark year.

If you are pairing with food, it will pair beautifully with grilled red meats (rib-eye steak, leg of lamb), game (wild boar, venison) and blue-veined cheeses.
