The grapes for the Gran Reserva de Ontañón grow in vineyards on high-altitude estates in the Sierra de Yerga that allow for very slow maturation that fixes the aromatic compounds and provides a perfect balance between acidity and structure.

Now the wine is 14 years old, even though matured, still very structured as it is meant to age even longer.

So you can get some aged flavors with some dried fruits and very complex, with a long lingering finish.
